Currently, Michael directs the Department of Data Analysis at Mail.ru Group. He is engaged in the creation and development of the areas associated with the segmentation of Internet users for targeted advertising, based on user behaviour on the Internet and on social networks; as well as the development of various techniques that use machine learning algorithms for the classification of Internet users. In parallel, Michael is working on the creation and development of the product, technological and scientific component of the new direction of Big data associated with the use of predictive mathematical models, marketing research and consulting in the area of infrastructure development and methodology of big data.

Michael’s teaching experience is associated with the project Technosphere, where he participates in the development and implementation of the courses ‘Algorithms for intelligent processing of large amounts of data’ and ‘Methods of distributed processing of large amounts of data in Hadoop’.
