Boris Ovchinnikov is one of two founders and partners of Data Insight and is its Head of Research. Data Insight was established in 2010 and has become the first Russian research agency fully focused on the online economy. Data Insight’s reports, ad-hoc research and consulting services cover e-commerce, eTravel, venture ecosystem, eLearning and other segments of online business in the Russian and CIS regions. Data Insight’s clients include online and offline retailers, FMCG brands, C2C service providers, and investment funds.
Prior to the creation of Data Insight, Boris acquired a diversified research experience in Internet and telecom markets working at SpyLOG (now Openstat), J’son & Partners, and SUP Media (now part of Rambler&Co).
